继上周G5“女神”之LSE向我校13年级毕业生抛来橄榄枝后，本周，G5之伦敦大学学院再放大招，将其最顶尖专业之一的神经科学专业offer授予了我校Louis同学，实在是可喜可贺！
Following last week's blessing from the 'Goddess' of the G5, LSE, to our Year 13 graduands; this week, University College London, also of the G5, has opened itself up and given an offer for one of the top subjects of neuroscience to our student Louis. It is truly both gratifying and laudable!
据2022USNEWS神经科学与行为世界排名显示，UCL该专业位列全球第五，全英第一，其世界排名仅次于哈佛大学、加州大学旧金山分校、麻省理工学院、斯坦福大学，实至名归的王牌专业。
According to the 2022 US News Neuroscience and Behaviour World Rankings, UCL ranks fifth in the world and first in the UK. Its world ranking is second only to Harvard University, University of California San Francisco, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Stanford University. It is a well-deserved top subject.
除UCL外，本周全球排名第16的爱丁堡大学再来一封offer，由13年级Lucy同学斩获，申请专业为室内设计。这是继伦艺之后，Lucy收获的又一优质offer,再次恭喜她！Kristina、Maggie同学则在斩获UCL后又双双喜获全球排名第26的多伦多大学offer，个个都是学霸！
Aside from UCL, the University of Edinburgh, which is ranked 16th in the world, has given us an offer this week. This time it is to Lucy in Year 13, who has applied to read for a degree in Interior Design. This is another high-quality offer that Lucy has received after the University of the Arts London. Congratulations to her once again! After already both receiving offers from UCL, Kristina and Maggie are delighted in unison once again to receive offers from the University of Toronto. Each of them is a veritable xueba [academically-outstanding student].

To the time of writing, the 2022 graduands of our school have received a total of 103 pre-admission offers from Top-100 Universities, 9 offers from G5 Universities, setting a new record for pre-admission results.

神经科学专业主要研究大脑及其对行为和认知功能的影响，对神经科学的认识。不断提高对大脑的了解，科学家就能研究出治疗神经退行性疾病（如帕金森氏症和阿尔茨海默氏病）和精神疾病的办法。
UCL神经科学专业隶属于其生命科学学院，该学院结合了伦敦大学学院在生物学和临床医学等学科领域的资源优势，在相关课题的研究与教学活动中不断取得新突破。同时，该院还是其所在领域中规模最大、最久负盛名的科研聚合体之一，以拥有尖端的教学和研究成果而享誉全球。
The subject of neuroscience mainly studies the brain and its influence on behaviour and cognitive function, and the understanding of neuroscience. By continuously improving the understanding of the brain, sciences can develop treatments for neurodegenerative diseases (such as Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease) as well as mental illnesses.
The subject of neuroscience in UCL belongs to the School of Life and Medical Sciences. The School brings together the resource advantages that University College London possesses in the fields of biology, clinical medicine and other related disciplines; and continuously makes new breakthroughs in terms of research and teaching in these areas. At the same time, the School is also one of the largest and most prestigious scientific research aggregates in its field, and is known across the world for its cutting-edge teaching and research outcomes.
